Savior

Once forgotten in this twisted and lost world,
Once persecuted on a daily basis for Breathing,
Once early in life judged by the judge less,
Once left starving, beaten and bleeding with no hope,

Savior in a moment you forgave and comforted me,
Savior with one touch you lifted the Vail for me to see,
Savior in one swift move you allowed me to hear,
Savior in a split second you dragged my soul from hell and corrected my path and killed me fear,

From a life of sin, anger and pain you forgive,
From a lost, selfish and proud existence you forgive,
From the self centered world I lived in you forgave me,
From the broken, ill tempered and destructive life you forgave me,

God your holy spirit leads me eachday in every every moment,
Your unwavering forgiveness is perfect and healing,
The most unnatural thinking now starts to make sense,
This pitstop home of earth is hurting and lost - use me Lord,

Thank you Jesus for bearing all of my sins and pain,
The perfect act of love that saved my soul,
Your will be done everyday and always,
I will always look to you for guidance and strength even when the world doesn't understand ...

Even though I fail you daily Lord I know you have a bigger plan for me and you are writing my story eachday ....

I will follow my Savior and the Savior of the world to those who accept and believe in him forever ...
