Like fire needs air to burn,

I need you and I yearn,

Like soil needs water to reap what’s sown,

Every minute to every day no matter the consequence,

Honey be in my dreams so my reality may feed,

Lover immerse your love upon me to force my lead,

Partner caress me with your spirit to fulfil the need,

 

As the seasons dictate the evolution of our world,

My desire for you rains and freezes the sunshine till its still,

Like the hands that hold a baby in safety and board,

So too does our love support the will to survive any ill,

 

This feeling is overwhelming wanting to lay by your side,

These tears burn scars into my face like acid just won’t hide,

This warmth of your arms as if sealing this divide,

In time the hunger will end this struggle inside,

 

I don’t need anyone to tell me about heaven,

I see your face and I believe no need for proof,

I can see the sunset and the perception will be my own,

You set my soul free and now every word you speak is bigger,
