Inspiration

This one is just me getting a whole bunch of thoughts out of my mind

Be more than you want to be,

Be more than what's expected of you,

Be more that just what people see,

Be more than what most of us will do,

 

Boundaries are as unstable as the people that built them, 

Walls are nothing more than man made obstacles, 

Fences are nothing more than a see through problem, 

Borders are but a reason to exclude freedom,

 

We have all had the feeling of being stuck on an edge, 

We have all laid down our dreams in the hopes of no footprints, 

We have all been in darkness once with no light in site, 

We have all been scared as hell of the unknown,

 

At times we feel like we have been awake for a thousand years, 

It feels as if we drowning in our sheets, 

It sometimes feels like our dreams are only nightmares, 

We are unable to escape our insomnia as it torments us,

 

Allow your dreams to carry you,

Allow your spirit to sour to new heights, 

Allow the energy to flow instead of stagnate, 

Allow yourself to be heard not just seen,

 

Pray for the strength to endure instead of prayer for an easy solution,

Pray for more time instead of an ending to problems,

Pray for knowledge instead of an escape, 

Pray for others and in turn prayers will be becoming unto you,

 

Inspiration presents itself everyday,

Inspiration is in the small things we are too ignorant to see, 

Inspiration comes from within us not from what we perceive we need, 

Inspiration is as simple as appreciation for breath, feeling and faith,

 

Inspiration simply is....... The reflection in the mirror
