Never meant to be the one to stay away from the dark,

 Never meant to be the one to brave the cold,

 Never meant to be the one that wouldn't let go,

Never meant to be so cold and wounded,

Now my wounds are sown because of who you are,

 It’s a burden I must now take on to become the holy one,

Just remember I am human and faults I will make,

So I hear your voice reminding me not to bleed,

So now I write this almost as a lullaby to scrape some sort of peace to where I am,

 A notion of direction to where I must go,

 I will hold the pen to the song that is yours alone,

 I will ink the words I don't always say,

Saviour you have been there since day 1,
Saviour you have taught me so much,
Saviour you have undone me to not feel alone,

Saviour you have forever shone light into my darkness,

Leadeth me to a place of peace and warmth,

Cometh with me to the everlasting light,

I am screaming out bleeding for your love,

 Crying a river that flows with a raging current of destruction,

Senseless I may seem sometime ...more often than not,

 Confusion in the reasons I sculpture for self-explained actions,

Scream and shout for fallen angels to seek solace,

 Ignorance undoing the woven fabric of what we built,

I can't see without the lens of your love,

I can't feel without the burnt warm of your touch,

I can't think without the education of your kiss,

I can't carry on with this burdened temperament,

Saviour hold me just a little while,
Saviour grant me the power to believe,
Saviour whisper that beautiful noise,
Saviour touch my heart and free my weakness,
