Bow

Bow

A Poem by Yellow
"

Not sure how I felt about this on after i finished it.

"

Where do we go now

When our home is broken?

Hide your fear with a pleasant bow.

Red hair, pink cheeks, freckled, spotted like a cow.

Tight curls, and a voice so soft-spoken.

Where do we go now

Act, and sing, and dance for a show

Your heart skips a beat, frozen in motion.

Hide your fear with a pleasant bow.

Up, on the stages prow

Standing in costume, not a single word misspoken

Where do we go now

Your face burning in lights, a sweat on your brow.

Adrenaline pulsing through you, a soft child, unbroken.

Hide your fear with a pleasant bow.

The curtains fall, bow and sing ciao, ciao.

Back stage, there is a reality: It is broken.

Where do we go now?

Just hide your fear with a pleasant bow.
