Crimson Sea

Crimson Sea

A Poem by Deeply Debbie
"

The Attraction to a person who is not the best choice for you, can be undeniably - intoxicating.

"

I lay my body down

And languish in a sea

Of thick, black gloom

That spells impending doom.

With crimson on your lips,

The grin upon your face

Tells of the fate

My spirit must await.

And though I try to fight

You suck my body dry

Of all that remains

Until I go insane

Amen. We go after someone we know to be bad for us and yet, like that moth, the flame's pull is undeniable.
