A Heart made of bread.

A Heart made of bread.

A Poem by DZasia King

We are but fools

Leaving breadcrumbs of our heart around

Hoping that a stranger will pick them up

And continue to follow us forever.

I love the breadcrumb analogy here. This kind of reminded me of Hansel and Gretel and how they decided to use bread crumbs to guide their way back and how all the crumbs got eaten by birds. I think it's amazing how we honestly do do the same as your work states and how our followers get lost anyways because crumbs don't last forever. Excellent piece over all.
