Are you dead?

Are you dead?

A Poem by DarbyDarby;;
"

Inspired by the film, Moulin Rouge.

"

I hold you in my arms,
all reality is starting to slip away.
    Away with your breath.
    Away with your blood.
    Away with your life.

I steady you,
Setting you down on the wooden floor,
Where I cradle you
    in silent torture.

The people stare at me,
watching my despair,
As the last of your exsistance
    leaves.

I am left cradling your cold,
stiff, and lifeless body
    against me.

I cry.

Cry for shame.
Cry for being able to do
    nothing.

I become insane with sorrow.

Wow..that's powerful, and sad...

"I steady you,
Setting you down on the wooden floor,
Where I cradle you
in silent torture."

**Love that**
