Storm Cloud

Storm Cloud

A Poem by Dreamer137

Storm clouds
hang over my head
dark and grey
they wait to rain on me

different shades of gray, white, and blue
soon they'll cry their tears
down, down, the rain shall fall
covering the ground in small, sweet droplets.

then the sun will light his way through
drying away the cloud's tears
he again makes her happy
keeping away the tears that plague her so

when her tears are gone
she leaves
only to return later with more sorrow
but the sun always shines through to dry the tears.

that's why he hides in the rain
he, too, is sad to see the cloud's tears
he wants all to be happy
especially his friends, the clouds, the sky, and the Earth
