Blind Labyrinth

Blind Labyrinth

A Poem by Dreamer137

we're all waiting to find
that one special person
to hold on to forever.
we're waiting for
a kiss of sparks and fire.
i wait to feel the butterflies
try to take off with me.
i wait to taste
the kiss of forever
and feel the hands
i know will never let me go.
i wait for a person
who keeps me intrigued
and holds my attention
where others would let me zone.
i want the one who
stays a perfect mystery
no patterns to find,
no monotonous conversation.
always new, never boring.
i need a challenge
to keep me hooked.
or do i just need
to lay here with you forever,
stay in the mystery
that i've found in you?
but in this labyrinth
i seem to be the only one searching.
you aren't looking for me.
you are the mystery
the only one to make
me lose track
of time and place.
in your eyes
i can't see.
i'm blind to the world.
you exist, i exist
and it's all disappeared.
now i'm blind forever.
all i see is your eyes
i'm lost in the labyrinth.
screaming to get out,
if i'm the only one
with human senses,
i want out!
you are my mystery,
but here i'm alone.
a gancanagh, my muse,
thats what you are.
you've got me addicted,
and tossed me aside.
LET ME OUT!
Let Me Out!
let me out.....

Author's Note

Dreamer137
just to keep from confusion, a gancanagh is from irish mythology. it's a male fairy that contains a toxin in its skin and once any girl, human or fairy, touches it or has contact with the gancanagh, they are addicted forever.
