I was your biggest mistake...

I was your biggest mistake...

A Poem by Divya Punjabi
"

i've written this after realising that.. its easy to break others' heart.. but too difficult to fix ourselves!!

"

Stroking the dead rose,
That once you gave me,
I wonder, how impiteous,
How Bad I could be.

There, in the middle of the street,
In the evil shed of moon, Yes I remember.
"Just leave me alone!" were my last words,
I just couldn't see us together.

You tried to stop me, but failed,
Threw yourself down, on your knees,
I got lost in the foggy night,
But, Oh! I heard you cried bitterly.

And now when I got the same wounds,
I wonder, How much blood you shed,
While loving me, regreting without reason,
I gifted you so much pain, yes i'm getting that.

Today, I'm here, in the same street,
Yearning that same night to return,
My blurred vision is staring the empty road,
Waiting as you waited.. for no one to come....
