![]() The Wrinkled LetterA Poem by Divya Punjabi![]() The pain a girl feels while missing her love of life.. Truly from my heart.. !![]() The Wrinkled Letter ![]() Missing you, I tried to feel better, When I ran into, your wrinkled letter. Oops! sorry my tears spoiled your handwriting, Those tears, which I kept on hiding. And the flashback was, right before my eyes, All beautiful truths and meaningful lies. You wrote me the letter, when Dad took my phone, Every word meant, that I was not alone. But here I'm, alone and broken apart, All I do is sing your songs, playing your guitar. Wearing your shirt, I feel like hugging you, And try to smile, b'coz I know you loved it too. I remember all lovely, beautiful time, When our life was perfect, was totally fine. Before it happened, Oh! my heart is burnt, That long drive, which was too long for you to return. This wrinkled letter, just gifted me so much pain, As it echoed the truth, that I'll never see you again... ![]() ![]() © 2013 Divya PunjabiReviews
