Life

Life

A Poem by Divyanka Kapoor

And as I ride this familiar road

Of tears of joy and fun galore

And tid - bits of crying, some anxious days

I understand this is all a phase!

As transient as it can ever get

Life is a super sonic booming jet

Flying high up in the bushy cloud

Few gray, many cottony - smiling in the crowd

And each cloud has a reason to be

The gray ones, like the  turbulence you see

We pass through them to get slightly displaced

New experiences, good learnings - new paths to be traced

The colour gray is all perception again

Like refraction, due to the falling rain

What might look dark because of our position in this ride

Might just be a rainbow, after changing one side

So spin and fly, take a mid-air flip

Aim your nose up, after a sudden dip

And wave at the passing birds you see

Enjoy this journey, as long as it can be! :)
