Peace

A poem . . .well

Silence eases itself in between

One moment and the next.

Temporary, its nature

Partial its primary quality.

How rare that moment

Of relative calm

When the soul settles

Into the same sunny hemisphere

To exist in brief respite,

Finally at peace.
