A poem of love and life, which at times contain tears.
Only a poet can explain it so well:
"Do not weep for the weeper
For the tear though borne of sorrow this day
has the deepest blue of love
as its path on cheek and chin."
Very well said....
But it is the last stanza that makes these groups of words stand out as pure poetry.
The emotion expressed by them are the reason I love the art.
'A pearlescent stream
festooning its prismatic hue
upon cheek downy with love's light.'
those lines remind me of a piece published in an anthology of well loved verse .. and the feelings you write about are part gentle, part sad but utterly beautiful. A diamond tear, displayed in sweet rich words.

Amazing poem. So much is said in so few words about something most see as insignificant on it'e own. A single tear shed has value beyond, well stated.
I am so happy to be writing! I was an attorney in my previous incarnation. These days, I teach voice mostly, write some and do a little psychotherapy. It seems like a good combination for me.
