Dance of the Plum Blossom

Dance of the Plum Blossom

A Poem by Audrey Howitt
"

A poem about the riotous dance of spring

"
White snow caresses my cheek
In a cascade of soft petals.

Spring announces herself,
Ready to pick up her sweet dance.

I await,
My dance card empty
Of all but the sweet promise
Of her light step in my direction.

There is just something beautiful about the way the words "Plum Blossom" flows in a poem, or just off the lips in conversation.
Lovely poem95

Romantic, delicate, and sublime, I really enjoyed the title and the concept of being enveloped in plump blossom snow flurries. Hmm I like how you didn’t overcrowd this with big words; it was flowery in an ornate kind of way *smiles*
