My Boston Brand

My Boston Brand

A Poem by Audrey Howitt
"

A poem about my pencil sharpener

"
Boston brand

eating at it like soft tinder,
moving its lead to sharp point;
perhaps to increase the chance
that word will find
its place once again on paper.

Concision is always admirable, why say more when it can be conveyed so well with so little? I like your poems *smiles*
