Ocean

Ocean

A Poem by Dith

He was a vulture
Only wanted me for my looks
The game of appearance
And subtle passion
Bores me profusely
Want to drown
In the ocean
Want to be dragged down
On ball and chain
Sinking steadily in abyss
Want to grow some gills
Imagine the sights
I could see
Imagine the transformation
You can't scream
In the ocean
The sound is mute
A thud for an instant
Means nothing to eternity
I want to drown
I'll still be around
Is it still life?
Underwater I could be like
Jeff Buckley or Rasputin
