11th AmendmentA Poem by Gerhardus Retief
Beneath the surface above the mud in between there is something left behind.
Crawling toward an unearthly grave seeking each of our minds. Confusing, after lack of self control is shined through the pressure of splinters. Against your will its haunting to define yourself once again. Without your own 11th amendment it will overwhelm your insecurity. So stop consuming the facts that made you reject a living life. If free will has been taken once don't let it be taken with the whole misbegotten race of defilers. Defenseless in the cancerous blinds but its not meant to wrap the taint around us. The unwritten book of laws wont open to you if you wont open up to it. Now just like before against your will take yourself to another realm. Where there is no room to pray only a glint to anxious begging for your own bravery. Filling your own hate that you will never miss and boil your golden blood to get on your own strong feet again. Every word said, every page torn, every hope lost is a illusion to carve one's eyes out. To see what must be said and to hear mangled in a paradoxic feeling. The demon in us all threatens our existence to walk in our own fire. © 2011 Gerhardus Retief |
