Your world

Your world

A Poem by Gerhardus Retief

Need not ask weather you can describe your world.
You do not have to protect it with a blameless sword from me.
Human parasites will try to invade, start a war in it.

They will have to go through my ice cold blood first.
Your world haunts my mind everyday but I will stand up for it.
You keep your smile flawless as your multi minded talent.

When your heart is broken I want to be the shoulder to turn to.
Your world ignores my faults and eases me into it like heaven.
Its a blessing to know someone with care and a curse if it would lead to losing that someone.

I hope our worlds collide everyday just to be reminded what yours was made of.
Built out of golden mountains of care and refreshed by the waterfalls of the strongest will.
I hope someone calls me a criminal from all the caring I would want to steal from you.

Your world can hide any agony in a world where I don't want to know.
To grow any plant that whispers the words not to go.
The pain would be much more than physical so treasure your world forever.
