Don't Go

Don't Go

A Poem by Gerhardus Retief

Stay with me please don't go.
Who would want to be all alone?
Its like being led into a place to be in denial.
Where we forget who we were.
There is not even weight to hold onto.
Stay with me please don't go
I can't take the pain again to be in the dark.
Don't take advantage of the valuable mind.
The sound of the heart when the beating wont stop,
Is the only thing that keeps me from dying inside.
The darkness will just surround the devil's scream
The heart wont feed on the legacy to beckon the aching sea.
So Stay with me please don't go.
I will always feel what you felt inside but I'll never see that why this isn't worth it.
Just waiting for a toxic venom with the solar target hit the mark.
Your always a step ahead of me but I wish it didn't live a life in hell.
Sorry to say that I can't give up so please don't go.
