Tearing The Virus

Tearing The Virus

A Poem by Gerhardus Retief

I don't mind to be without a sun most of the time.
The fabric of my skin gleams brighter in other people's eyes.
Just when I dig my fingers into my eyes without countless tries.
I really like the blood that shines that runs down my cheeks.
The violent sting wont leave the prick in the wandering mind.
After that I'll tear the gleaming skin to show my chain reaction.
Now what I really mind is when someone tries to be a stupid hero and save me in my mind.
Its not something to try when the blood is pouring, devouring ,souring and warning.
Don't catch me in my endless falling of crawling to the peak of a white sea that reflects the Grey sun.
It turns the body from it's flesh appeal waiting in a moon life in this hating that I have never missed.
It's a reason to live because insanity is boring with no horror anymore.
