written 7-9-08, with the thoughts of problems that my best friend was having with someone close to her. :]

I can't do this anymore,
the vicious cycle of hurt I won't ignore.
if you loved me you'd stop it all;
instead of cry for sympathy.
it gets old and you never understood,  
that this is me,
and maybe we weren't meant to be.
