Bittersweet Memory

staring at the night sky; it reminds me of you

a memory we made together
looking at stars; thoughts of that kiss
the last one i gave you before i left
the last one we ever shared
the one that gave me butterflies
it made me smile, giving me much more.
heart still racing through it all
but not giving up cuz it's not the end
since its not what i want
or how it should be.
