we've memorized the feeling to cry

staring with pained eyes and broken smiles.

stripped to our cores, beaten down.

holding on by a thread, living on dreams.

hoping to become that sort of happy,

the kind you dont have to fake,

with no explicit end or beginning

longing to have the feeling

while praying on tomorrow and regretting yesterday.
