Missing: You

Missing: You

A Poem by David
"

Couldn't sleep one night and was really missing someone. Then these words started forming in my mind, and so I wrote them down and tweaked it a bit.

"
I miss your laugh,
I miss your scorn,
I miss your past which fate has drawn.

I miss your joy,
I miss your pain,
I miss your song that scatters rain.

I miss your smile,
I miss your tears,
I miss your days in present years.

I miss your silence,
I miss your noise,
I miss your emotions, behind decoys.

I miss your thoughts,
I miss your voice,
I miss your wisdom, knowledge, choice.

I miss your touch,
I miss your ear,
I miss knowing you are there.

In my life,
You know it's true,
There's something missing, and that is you.
