I am a flower
A Poem by Dimple Nahata Jain
They see me and smile
They adore me and keep
When I blossom, they pluck
When I wither, they throw
Then the genesis of me
Gives another birth to me I withered again
And the process goes on.
The soul in me,
Flourishes and fades too
The commoners never changed.
'The Humans'
They still pluck the beautiful flower
And they never stopped, Lowering-downgrading, tearing down the other humans
I am just a flower
Just in human form
And not on the bush. (Some flowers do bloom on a tree, cherry blossoms)

I liked how you used the flower to show how we can be treated. People can be cold and hard. We need to slow down, listen and pay attention to the people that are near. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.
