Standing Silently:

Standing Silently:

A Poem by DiMar4u
"

just a sliver

"
I prayed for so long
  to be gone.

I can feel it, the cold
  and what it took from
         me.

Every corner cleared,
 Every shadow inside out.

There's no pony ride,
  no broken down show;

And,
 there's no where
    "to go."

Only a fool who thought
   He could know.

Short, but concise, and quick, and it conveyed a lot emotionally.

I love the ending couplet. Great job :)
