in another hour

in another hour

A Poem by DiMar4u
"

thoughts lost thinking

"

i'll still be here,
eyes wide open,
trying to understand
why we do what
we do:

to each other,
to the world;
as if we've never
felt before.

as if...
we don't
believe
anymore.

forgiveness
is not a license
for repeat offenders.

in time,
trust will die;

one day we'll
wonder why it
seems we never
have need to cry...
as love becomes a lie.

Insiteful. I'm sorry is also not guilt free absolution.

I like that forgiveness is not a license for repeat offenders. Sad truth. Well done!

Excellent thoughts on society/humanity in general. Blunt, but still written in an empathetic and somewhat sad manner.

Great emotion and wonderful rhythm- quality writing.

Nice job! :)

The world will always be filled with a curtain coldness. That coldness and how it affects the person, also molds that person. Belief and feeling becomes an odd law, that many have long forgotten. Nice piece.
