Kind

Kind

A Poem by defenestrator
"

A new piece about agnosticism.

"

I think something stayed behind

and left me half a feeling man.

Pieces rain around me without remorse

and leave me feeling strangely fine.

Pushing through tragedy often can

leave the soul rough and coarse,

but they say not so for my kind.

Tell me things lost once held,

and I'll show you a verse to sing.

How about countless lain in waste?

What's the worst you've ever felt?

I'll write about deeper things,

with simply baffling tastes.

I'll tell you it's all in what we're dealt.

Did faith show you the finish line?

I found there's nothing so concrete,

but our ability to disbelieve.

Should I be led among the swine,

or stand with the silent meek?

Inheriting this world incomplete

is not fair for my kind.

nice. i think you could rework it to make the rhymes perfect; they are so close. i think it's just a matter of slight movement and a few word changes.
