Epilogue

A Chapter by Dillon McFarlane

“Dear Diary,” Steven wrote as he said.

“Dear Diary. This is Steven on the 22nd December. I got this diary yesterday and there was already 22nd December in it so I’m going to start here. I feel different from last year. I survived my father. I know that sounds really wrong but it happened. He escaped from prison and tried to kill me. Again! But now...I feel different. Before, I used to hate killing spiders and little beasts but I kind of like it. I have these...urges. I went to school again and well...I killed the school pet. I also began hunting for cats in the streets and catnapped them lol! But I’m fed up with animals. After what happened last year...I took things from my father and I want to be like him. I want to kill! I’ve left the gas on downstairs. Mum’s new boyfriend is back from work soon. He’s a smoker.”
