Coach KavA Poem by dillonjensenMy baseball coach who I had known since the 2nd second grade passed away from a heart attack my senior year of high school.God graced us with your presence in life and death. You were and still are an honorable man. The life you lived was fulfilled till the very last breath. We were all touched by you, but He had a plan. Looking down on us I'm sure you're happy now. To see how much your life has impacted us all. Everything I was taught, I plan to vow. You showed me the light when I began to fall. Your words of wisdom inspired us with hope. When we had nothing to do but accept fate. I am not here today to be sad and mope. Honor him I will; the man we hold so great. You changed my outlook on life in a new way. To put in perspective, you were an idol. I'll never forget-in my life- that sad day. When they said you had no chance of revival. Your legend lives on through the stories of us. Most certainly you will be missed in our lives. Remembering you will always be a must. Till Judgment Day when we all come back and rise. Life you can take, but spirit you cannot have. We'll all be there in the end to support you. God hear me out; this one's for my hero Kav. Rest in peace Kav, without you I'd have no clue. © 2012 dillonjensenAuthor's Note
