I'm Addicted

I get hurt because it's my choosing.

'Cause I'm addicted to the hurt

That is why I end up in this situation

Time after time;

Solely by my own doing

Do I end up with a darker heart

I try my best to keep the scars in the shadows

But the women I go after expose my insecurities

As opposed to helping me get over them

I appreciate the help in finding those insecurities

But you all left when I needed you the most

And to think I had someone tell me I must

Be a heart breaker...

I will just chalk that up to irony.
