FreeA Poem by dillonjensenJust a thought I wanted to expand on.Don't tell me that we're free, While living in a society telling us who to be. Strings are pulled at an early age, And like puppets we are forced to move. Molded in to people we hate, And lives that we despise. Playing this game of rat race, Working jobs we don't like, To afford our habits of consumption. We sit in endless debt, That feeds the hand of the nine to five cycle. So we then choke on our lack of experience, And automatically accept less than we deserve, Because in today's world, We are anything but free.
