Maybe I am able to help someone going through a rough patch.

Why are we so afraid of different?
Being 'normal' is a fallacy we all tell ourselves.
Usual or ordinary...not strange...by definition.
But who decides what 'strange' is?
Why are we so quick to judge being different?
Why not embrace what makes you, you?
We all participate in this game of life.
Some more than others.
There's not one clear cut way to go about it either.
Being different is what separates us from one another.
We needn't fight over trivial things...
Like right versus wrong...
Rather, let's embrace the fact that we are different,
And realize we all have similarities.
We are all human beings seeking something...
Whatever that something may be...

Again such a fantastic write full of wisdom, I love the line: " But who decides what 'strange' is? " it's true. Very true, I ponder often, why people, in general label for example minutes and seconds to time, or days to years, or strange to strange, it's only "strange" in a way, when it's not recognizable for another, or when the other, didn't learned as much, to become not strange with it... I think. I love us being different in all ways, I love humanity for each and every unique hybrid being... this one has such a good message, thank you once again dear friend.

Another great piece. It's very moving and I found myself unable to pull my eyes away. Really made me think, a powerful thing in the world of writing. Love the line, "Being different is what separates us from one another." It sounds familiar though, did you make it up or take it from somewhere else?

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm very glad you enjoyed it too. I took a basic idea and changed the wording to make it my own, as far as that line goes. It was like a running theme in my head, and I felt this was a good place to use it.
