Something GoodA Poem by dillonjensenFinally, a more happy poem. She whispers something soft into my ear. This moment then became clear. 'Twas not a dream at all.... The warmth of her glowing body being felt next to me. I glance over and see the passion igniting in her eyes. She leans over to kiss me, but pulls back right before we meet lips. Almost as if to tease me into playing her game. I smile at her and then begin the chase. This was the calm before the storm that was coming. As our lips crash like waves of euphoria, She grabs my hand and squeezes firmly. I pull her in so close that I can feel her heart beating faster and faster. Tangled in a web of complete jubilation, She bites my upper lip and begins to grin. As I kiss her forehead, I say, "I love you." Lying next to each other with eyes locked in. I can't help but appreciate a comfortable silence. My eyes begin to slowly close, but she begins to say something. She tells me that she loves me, and how she is so lucky. I go in for another kiss, and tell her that I am the lucky one. I tell her that she is my something good in this world, And that I will not play with that. © 2014 dillonjensenAuthor's Note
