A Beautiful Struggle Between Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

I truly hope that the good flourishes in all of us as humans.

My mind is completely gone.
Jekyll and Hyde are now here.
Good and evil start to spawn.
Whispers of choice in my ear.

Devilish grins begin to fade;
as the darkness looms its head.
Horrors of the choices made;
desires that are now fed.

A dark, beautiful struggle,
that brings internal warfare.
Life and death start to juggle,
twisted thoughts from my nightmare.

Author's Note

Not my usual type of poem, but I feel it's good to be well-rounded in many things. Not only that, this has been a feeling I've had for quite some time. The beautiful struggle, that is.
