A letter to my future wifeA Poem by dillonjensenEnjoy/critique.
To my future wife,
This is me letting you know exactly how much you truly mean to me. I'll never go a day without letting you know that I love you. You don't have to change to be someone that you're not, because you think I might like that more. I like you for you, not what you think you're not. It's simply stunning to me how your smile can always brighten up the darkest of days for me. The radiance I get from being with you is a manifestation of our love. We just seem to 'glow' when we are with each other. I want you to know that you are the best thing that could have ever happened to me, and every single day I will let you know that. I'll pull you in close, grab you by the hips, and kiss your tender lips. You should know that I could never do anything to hurt you because it would be like hurting myself in essence. We are one, we are connected. I couldn't imagine spending the rest of my days with anyone else on this planet. Somehow you take me to heights I could have never imagined. You believe in me, as I believe in you. I will do anything in my power to make this the best relationship possible by giving it my all, even when my all just isn't enough. You're my easiest, "Hello." And my hardest, "Goodbye." I just wanted to let you know that I will always be there for you, whatever the case may be. Together, we can get through any storm to find a brighter day. One day, you'll look back upon this and I hope that I have been the man that you expected me to be. I hope I truly did 'wow' you. I just wanted to be a better man, and in finding you, I believe I have done so. Sincerely, Dillon © 2013 dillonjensenAuthor's Note
