Never Buy Used Compact Tractors

Out of all the insignificant tasks I do each day, the one I enjoy the most is keeping the grass of my lawn lush & trimmed. I have owned, exchanged & replaced plenty of lawn movers for the task but I had never felt satisfied with the machines. It was around spring last year that I got the idea of buying a second hand tractor with the ability to attach grass cutting implements. It was at a friend’s farm I saw one his caretakers cutting the grass using a compact tractor that this idea began brewing. By the time I had returned home, I was 100 percent sure that I was going to buy a used compact tractors that I began searching for them online to get an estimate of the price. But soon I was going to realize how ridiculous the antics of used tractors market are.

 

What I knew about his buy was all the specific tasks I required a second hand tractor for. There is plenty I want to do with my lawn. I want to change the whole landscape. Add a fountain or pond to the location; plant a few vegetables at one side so and so. What I wanted was a old tractors for sale with the capacity to lift & dig, tow, ability to attach a variety of farming implement at the back. It should be compact yet powerful, easy to maneuver & able to handle its own on any kind of terrain. Other features that I would put under consideration were a ROPS as I was aware of and had witnessed a few of the tractor rolling accidents.

 

I had a fixed budget for the purchase which seemed to be abundant at the time. But when I began researching online for used compact tractors all my calculations matched nowhere to the value that I was witnessing online. In order to not address what I had just, I built myself a rationale that online rates are always higher than the market rates. With these naive assumptions, I went to a nearby old tractors seller. I was so confident that I was carrying more than the amount I was willing to spend on a second hand tractor in cash.

 

But when I began my inquiry I was taken aback by the amount they valued these used compact tractors at. The price of old compact tractors with even the least features that I wanted mine to have come out to be almost twice my budget. Well, I didn’t want to waste my time and efforts any further and I left for home to look for new lawn mower.

 

But when I was about to turn around and move away, the seller gave me a suggestion. He told me that there are compact tractor brands such as Solis, which offer a fully-featured professional compact farming tractor in an affordable price. I wasn’t willing to listen. For all I knew this guy was trying to dupe me into something even worse. He told me that the distribution centre of Solis was nearby and he was happy to take me there himself as it was his store only. Now, I was sure that this guy was obviously duping me. And I wanted to leave his shop and look for other shops those sellf old compact tractors. But soon I found myself being succumbed to his persuasion and ended up making the best buy with my Solis S26. But that story is for some other time.
