Touted as the most dependable farm professional, Solis S series tractors from the trusted brand are two compact tractors I was looking at when I thought about beginning my long awaited journey into hobby farming. If you are also someone who is beginning his journey into hobby farming, or a veteran looking around for your new compact tractors, this series of tractors by the leaders in Agri-mechanization are budget friendly, and most well equipped in the market. The S series tractors come with three point CAT system which let you attach any kind of implement you would require on a small farm.

The series features two compact tractors S20, and S26 which you can choose from. Where, S20, the sub compact tractor, is easy to manoeuvre, and master, is a good choice for the starters, while S26 is a more power packed cousin of it. To help you with the choice following examine the two tractors in brief in the following section.

SOLIS S20

The sub-compact S20 is specially crafted those who are familiar with how to handle such a machine. The 20 HP machine comes with a Mitsubishi 3-Cylinder Diesel Engine, a turning radius of 2.3m which is ideal for small farms, and a towing capacity of twice1600 kg, and a lifting capacity of 500 kg, and a maximum speed of 15 km/hour. Above that the tractor produces very low noise which is a favoured feature by those who have their farms near their own estate. The tractor even features the aforementioned three point hitch which is easy to attach ploughs and other agricultural implements. The sleek and stylish bonnet of the tractor gives it a more sporty appeal.

SOLIS S26

The S26 comes with 26 HP therefore the more powerful of the two compact tractors offered by the compact tractor company and comes with a hydraulic power steering. Compared to S20, the tractors has a slightly less turning radius of 2.1 meters, and a lifting capacity of 600 kg, while there is only a slight increase in speed with 17 km/ hour without any attachments. This tractor also has a towing capacity of 1600 kg but it comes with wet brake system which offers better control than the drum break offered in S20.

Both the tractors can work any kind of terrain with their four wheel drive and they come with analogue fuel gauge, work lights which can be swivelled at the rear, a clutch, drawbar at rear, and a roll-bar with a beacon. Optional linkages such as a front loader, or a follower front linkage can be attached on both as per your requirement, are manufactured by Solis as well. Considering all the features offered, it becomes a choice of preference and usage among the two. The Market is full of options that boast efficiency and diverse applications but it is quite challenging to find an alternative for the SOLIS. Primarily the brand offers great experience along with a great product that resonates with the end consumer. And the affordability factor certainly becomes decisive while making a smart choice. The Farming has already gone through a paradigm shift and users across the globe are experiencing the benefits of technology. The usage and applications differ as per the requirements. However, with SOLIS, the range of farming tractors and equipment settles the holistic requisites at a great value. Future is ripe with world looking upon the New Age Farmers who would contribute to transform the way world looks at farming. The Brand is driven to empower the future of farming, today.
