Still Remains

The title is derived from a STP song.

I am lead to believe

that what once was

still remains

as the water

rolls past this rock

and the beat goes on

audible.

sole survivor.

it just is sustained

It's like you are saying...it's alright to be still. What sustains us will ultimately guide in the end.

Ah, the mysteries of life, condensed in a stream of wisdom and few words. Again, I love short (or flash, if you will) prose that expertly conveys a philosophy/thought/emotion.

And I agree, what was once, remains and the world simply keeps turning. Puts things concisely into perspective.
