Just Take It All In

Just listening to Eric Johnson's "Ah Via Musicom," reading, and thinking of winter constellations.

The music is saturating all around

you are quite amazed at what you found

hearing some lyrics

you read and look

at the pages of some book

 

and to your surprise

right before your eyes

is that very word

your ears just heard

 

The winter night sky above

you stop to admire with love

seeing a shooting star

...stops your heartbeat

in time to see it streak

 

and soon you realize

right before your eyes

the cold begins to melt

it’s that miracle your heart felt
