Demonic Pleasures

Demonic Pleasures

A Poem by Dietrich von Crowe
"

Format of a motumice *wink*

"

I’m the demon who smiles and stares
With the solemn gesture of an escaping sigh.

There is life and there is death, there is good and there is evil,
There is God and there is
          who? Mephistopheles? No, never.
(that would only prove God to be merciful!)
There is me,
                        Me!
                                    Myself!
                 And I! *chuckle*

Here we are, before Christ’s eyes now,
I wonder if you’ve been forgiven.
…Surely you did repent, you silly thing!

No? An indulgence you say?

Joy!                 Haha!                                      Music to my ears!
See there now! Look at our feet! *chuckle*

sinking
     sinking
sinking
     sinking
Sinking into that ring, or that circle.
You know, Dis; Dante wrote of it. *shrugs*
                        But he didn’t see me.
You should have repented, friend.
                     I’ll
                     Devour
                     Your
Hah! Had you goin’ there!   [but really now]
What is your worst nightmare?
            …
… Won’t say, will you? Out of fear? Hmm…ha-ha…

*grins darkly*

I like this one a lot. Your creativity in this poem was great and and I almost wonder what you are hiding under that "hood" of yours ^_^!

That was a twisted conversational monologue. I liked all the twists and turns within it. Wicked. ;)

Haha, I love this poem!
It was deliciously dark and dangerously funny.
Your talent never ceases to amaze. Me, at least.

One day I'll critique you, fer sure. *winkwink*
