The Devil Lives at Home

The Devil Lives at Home

A Poem by didoski
"

up for interpritation

"
Somehow I was drawn to this place
Like my mind made a mistake
A miscalculation of sorts
And now
I’m eternally awake

I reach for the stars
Only to see the bottoms of trees
I jumped as high as I could
But was just on my knees

The world looks different from here
Away I should steer
But the tires are flat
No matter
The keys aren’t here
