Heartbreaks are inevitable

Just a sampling of some of my poetry and prose throughout the years.

It's true what they say

You never know what you have til it's gone.

I almost died.

I don't remember life without you.

For a moment there that life was slapped across my face.

I was afraid it would be the last welt of our friendship.

The dribble of dots

Add up

To make a beautiful painting of the sky

And I'll stare at you forever

I can get lost in your eyes

The fever of what I might find

Heats the magic of your depths

The stars are your eyes

and the blackness is your soul

Wow. I really like this piece. It has a lot of raw emotion but at the same time, this has great indirect meaning. Lovely write :)
