Wingless ButterflyA Poem by Daniela Diaz
She wakes up every morning with so much in her head.
She's afraid that someone else will tear her down again. Her fears keep her down because she's afraid to fly, As soon as she opens her wings she gives up and doesn't give it another try. While she reminisces about all the bad, he walks in and takes her hand With tears in her eyes she pled "you can't save what is wrecked" He pulled her in closer as she wept He's next words were something i could't accept "Open your wings and we will fly together, just know that i'm here with you forever."
