W****s Deceive and Fools BelieveA Poem by diaphanousI've repeated past mistakes.
F**k the fool who believed
that certain snipped mouths are incapable of lying deceit. Three times the fool you have made me. Curse every single rule you broke upon me. Tired jealousy flares and crippled wounds sigh. Ignoring the furtive stares I focus on getting high. Craning my neck above your lips mark the line taking me by surprise I miss the taste of wine. Fumbling fingers on buttons I struggle to refrain But the weak-willed succumbs and I'm at risk once again. Fool change the course and I'm set adrift unsure of my remorse and unaware of your gift. I'm forced to recall pain in memories lived before How sadly low I would fall and how exposed to the core. I hate the fool I play You brought me down. I'm the sad clown today where is the sordid crown. The fool is only queen of the vulnerable weak the exposed and naive oh how the mighty receive.
