Without You

Without You

A Poem by Diana Owen Busy with Life BBS!
"

This is a little sappy. I wrote it a while back when me and my husband (then my boyfriend) were fighting.

"

If you can really hold a mirror up to the eyes of your soul

then I would show you your happiness and the dreams that

you may behold.

If I can rub a magical lamp and make a magical genie appear

then maybe he will grant you your every wish so that your

sorrow might disappear.

If I could love you until tomorrow

May tomorrow never come

If I could hold the source to never ending happiness

then I would gladly give you some.

If I can hold you in my arms forever and a day

with words of love upon my lips that I shall

never tire to say.

Because without you in my life, my life would be on hold

for move heart would ever have another place to go.

I am so sorry it took me so long to review this I have been crazy busy at work this week. Inventory. blah.

This is once again a showing how powerful of a writer you are. You pulled me in at the beginning at never let go of my attention and made me feel a connection on a personal level which is just one of the many reason you are an amazingly talented writer.

Great Job!!!

In all honesty, you have wrote better peices... It was a good write but I think if you put your mind to it and change a few things it could be prefect. It truley is amazing how love can make you feel, as we all know...

Beautiful
Sometimes when we think we could loose something precious it makes us open our hearts and the truth flows out.
This piece was surely written from your heart and i think it is lovely.

This is a departure from the other works I have read, but not an unwelcomed one. I don't know how you define sappy, but this is not sappy to me. It is lovely. Cheers.

If I could love you until tomorrow
then may tomorrow never come.

That was beautiful, true heartbreak threatening and the feelings that surge behind it, the desire, the unending love, the passion to never ever lose the feeling that you share with this person. This was great. It could not have been said any better Di!

Diana,
this poem is lovingly soul
rendered, soft, gentle,
moving in its rendering,
desirous sentiments, from
the center of the heart,
beautiful, and a pleasure
to read, peace, mike

Really loved the idea and concept to this piece. Felt it showed an awful lot of feeling between you and your husband and for that alone I consider this truly heartfelt.

Great read but please look at the spelling as this spoils the piece.
