Hatred

Hatred

A Poem by Diana Owen Busy with Life BBS!

I am your darkness

I am your lie.

I am the creature that lives deep inside....

I am your hate.

I am the fire.

I am the fuel that you desire....

I am the fog inside of your head.

I am the monster that lives under your bed...

I am the tears that make you cry.

I am the drug that makes you think you can fly....

I am the razor that cuts you so deep.

I am the reason why you keep losing sleep...

I am the feeling of constant pain.

I am the reason why you stand in the rain....

I a hatred, I am lies, I am everything that you despise...

I am you

Yes, it's (darkness) in all of us. Can we control it? I feel evil at times but my feelings of potential guilt keep me in check. LOL

I am hatred, I am lies, I am everything that you despise..
I am you......

The monster within us...
Emotionally creepy and so true.

xoxoxo,
Stacy

What an amazing poem. So dark but also very real. I have felt this way and it made me feel uncomfortable in my own skin, almost ashamed to look anyone in the eye. I thought maybe it was a bit weird to feel so dark but now I know it's not just me. Thank you.

Love this one too. Is this self loathing or what? Good job!

I can relate to this poem so much. Feeling completly worthless.

Gripping painful look into someone's mind. Just loved how you perfectly built the tension until you end this piece brilliantly

I am you...

The shadows deep in everyones minds, haunting them, for some sort of reasons. The demons we all try to shake at times.

Wonderful write, loved your vivid imagery which just strengthened the hatred that grows and brews deep inside

Wow nice dark reflection here... Myself I embrace both the darkness and light for balance. But I love what you've written, so raw and stark. Seething! Nice write!

Faerie Blessings!

No messing here. Everything reflective in the colour of your blood. Great work.

Constructive criticism - personally I would have the line - 'I am the drug that makes you can fly...' taking out 'think you'
'I am the reason why you lose sleep... ' I would also use this.

Both of the above I think flow better. My view only. No-one else!

It's a cool poem.

Really enjoyed this - gripping and close to the bone.

Hatred is often a great way to convert hurt, as long as you exorcise it from your system. When it lingers it becomes all the things you so eloquently described.

I can so relate to this feling hun, and the saddest parts of it are so true. We are indeed our own worst enemies and there is nothing that save us from the horror of ourselves. I love this piece though, it is beautifully written and I enjoyed reading it, thanx for sharing this with me hun XX
