Infatuation

Infatuation

A Poem by dianalondon
"

How aesthetic captures one's eye, and turns to lust and maybe love that captures ones' heart.

"

That handsome face and structured jaw

His almond eyes will leave you in awe

A statuesque Apollo walking among us,

He seized my heart as he walked by me

I lost myself in his tender embrace

When he stared in my eyes, and I would loose all face

I loved him with every breath he took away

And even more with every smell of his scent

A promising forever would sneak in my thoughts

An endless bliss of carnal devour

A thoughtless serendipity of an unpredictable life.

An innocent leisure of all things aesthetic.

I would bare my blossoming soul

In an open book text

Reveal my utmost desires and enigmas of the mind.

A vehement passion ignited that day

He kissed me and all the pain went away.

And from that kiss, incandescent ardor was born,

To spend each day intertwined,

In mind, body and soul.
